Insurance

At Matthew’s Hope Intensive Outpatient Program (MHF IOP), we accept most commercial insurance plans to help clients access our comprehensive IOP services. We assist each client with the verification process, ensuring you understand what treatments and services are covered before beginning your journey toward recovery. When you or a loved one is ready to seek help, our goal is to make the process as seamless as possible, so you can focus entirely on healing.

How to Pay for IOP With Insurance

Many insurance plans cover part or all of the costs associated with Intensive Outpatient Programs. Before starting treatment, you can consult with your insurance provider to understand your coverage options.

If your state follows the Affordable Care Act (ACA), you may be eligible for IOP coverage, as the ACA mandates insurers to provide some level of addiction treatment benefits. While coverage can vary, understanding what aspects of care are included is critical to making informed decisions about your recovery plan.

For clients without insurance, participating in an IOP is still possible. You can pay out-of-pocket, explore scholarships, or get financial support from loved ones. However, it’s worth checking with your insurer first, as many companies will cover at least a portion of the costs associated with treatment.

Will My Insurance Cover IOP?

At MH FIOP, our team will work directly with you to determine how much of your Outpatient services are covered by your insurance plan. Simply give us a call and provide some information and we can help verify your benefits. If insurance doesn’t fully cover your treatment, we’ll help explore alternative payment options and financial aid solutions to ensure you can still access the care you need.
